In his homily, Rev. Fr. Sunil D’Silva spoke on the history of the parish and church building and highlighted the importance of parish unity, active participation in the life of the Church, and the spirit of service and fellowship among parishioners. The faithful gathered in large numbers and prayerfully participated in the liturgy, making the celebration spiritually enriching and meaningful.
Following the Holy Mass, a vibrant cultural programme was presented by the parishioners. The programme featured various entertaining performances that reflected the talents, unity, and cultural richness of the parish community. The audience appreciated and applauded the efforts of all the participants and organizers. In remembrance of 10th year of new church building, the committee members who were responsible then were honoured.
The Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stephan Rodrigues was given a sendoff as he completed two years in this Parish and got transferred to Moodubelle Parish. Â
The Parish Community Day concluded with a festive meal shared by all, fostering togetherness and strengthening the bond among the parish members. The celebration was a memorable occasion marked by prayer, joy, and community spirit.
