A Training Programme on the Raitasiri App

The Mother Teresa Mahasanga women’s association organised a training programme on the Raitasiri App on 30th August 2026 at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara. The session was conducted by Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto, Director of Sampada, with the objective of creating awareness about the Raitasiri App, which is designed to support farmers in crop cultivation and provide information related to agriculture and other farming needs.
The programme began with a prayer, followed by inviting the guests to the stage. The dignitaries present were Rev. Fr. Anil D’Souza, Parish Priest of St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara; Rev. Fr. Santhosh Almeida, Assistant Parish Priest; Deacon Kevin D’Souza; Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto, Director of Sampada; Gloria Pinto, President; and Dorine Pinto, Secretary. The welcome address was delivered by Gloria Pinto. Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto then conducted the training session and explained the importance and usefulness of the Raitasiri App for farmers. A total of 58 members, including 16 members from Swa-Sahaya Sanghas, participated in the training programme. The session was informative and provided the participants with useful knowledge about the app and its role in supporting farmers. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dorine Pinto, Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the guests, organisers, trainer, and all the participants for their presence and support.
