Lenten Devotional Drama “Chiri”

As part of the Lenten spiritual activities, St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara, organized a Lenten devotional drama titled “Chiri” on 21st February 2026 (Saturday) at 6:30 p.m. at the church grounds. The program witnessed the participation of many parishioners and visitors who gathered to reflect on the Lenten message through the medium of drama.
The drama was written by Rev. Fr. Alwin Serrao and directed by Christopher. Through meaningful dialogues and powerful performances, the drama portrayed a profound spiritual message that invited the audience to reflect on their lives during this holy season of Lent.
Theme: The drama highlighted the Lenten call to repentance, conversion of heart, and deeper trust in God’s mercy, reminding the faithful to renew their spiritual life and grow closer to Christ during the season of Lent.
The event was open to all with free entry, allowing both parishioners and people from outside the parish to attend. The audience appreciated the efforts of the organizers and the performers who beautifully conveyed the Lenten message through their talents.
