His words helped the young candidates better understand the responsibilities that come with being fully initiated members of the Church.
The solemn Eucharistic Celebration commenced at 10:30 a.m. During the Holy Mass, Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo formally conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation upon the 37 candidates. In his homily, he reflected on the importance of living as true witnesses of Christ in today’s world. The Bishop reminded the newly confirmed to actively participate in the life of the Church, uphold moral values, and courageously profess their faith.
Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza, the Parish Priest, and Rev. Fr Stephen Rodrigues, the Assistant Parish Priest, were present for the celebration, offering their support and prayers for the candidates.
The ceremony was conducted with reverence and devotion, making it a memorable occasion for the candidates, their parents, sponsors, and the entire parish community.
