“Confraternity Sunday Celebration 2025”

The faithful of St. Francis Xavier Church, Udayavara, gathered in deep devotion on November 30, 2025, to celebrate Confraternity Sunday under the inspiring theme:
“Through the inspiration of the Holy Eucharist, let us live a life of brotherhood.”

The celebration began with the solemn Holy Eucharist at 5:00 PM, presided over by Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza. He was joined in concelebration by Rev. Fr. Anil D’Souza, the Parish Priest, and Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues, the assistant Parish Priest. In his homily, Rev. Fr. Leslie D’ Souza highlighted the Eucharist as the source of unity, love, and fraternity within the Christian community, encouraging the faithful to witness Christ through acts of brotherhood.

Following the Mass, the congregation participated in a reverent Eucharistic procession, publicly expressing their faith and devotion. The service concluded with Eucharistic Benediction, invoking God’s blessings upon all families and the parish community.

After the spiritual celebrations, refreshments were served to all attendees, fostering fellowship and strengthening community bonds in the spirit of the day’s theme.
