‘Catechist Day Celebration’

The parish community joyfully celebrated Catechist Day on Sunday, November 9, to honor and appreciate the dedicated service of our catechism teachers. The celebration began with the Holy Mass at 7:30 a.m., celebrated by Assistant Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues.
During the Mass, special prayers were offered for all catechists, thanking God for their commitment to nurturing the faith of our children and youth. Fr. Stephen, in his homily, highlighted the vital role of catechists in the mission of the Church and encouraged them to continue their ministry with love, patience, and dedication.
After the Mass, the catechists were honored and felicitated in a short ceremony. Flowers were offered as a token of gratitude and appreciation for their selfless service in teaching and guiding the students in the ways of faith.
The celebration was marked by a spirit of joy, fellowship, and thanksgiving. The parish expressed heartfelt appreciation to all catechists for their valuable contribution to the spiritual growth of the community.
