“Gracious” House for Ms Gracy has been Inaugurated and Blessed!!!
On August 4th Sunday, at 4:30 pm. Ms Gracy Machado welcomed Rev Fr Anil D’Souza, Fr Stephan Rodrigues, Vice president Lawrence D’Sa, Secretory John M D’Souza with a Rose Thereafter Fr Anil Joined Ms Gracy in cutting the ribbon and inaugurated the house by opening the door.
Later ward Gurkar along with the members entered the house. thereafter a formal blessing of the house was initiated by Rev Fr Anil D’Souza, and all who were present took an active part in the prayers. Fr Anil in his prayers thanked God for his gracious blessings and prayed over the house, that it may bring a peaceful stay for Ms Gracy. Moreover he prayed the heavenly blessings over the donors for their generosity and on the ward members for their voluntary work throughout the construction and also for those who made this dream a reality thereafter blessed the house by sprinkling Holy water.
Fr Anil on behalf of all gathered there congratulated Ms Gracy and wished her a happy stay in her new house. He made a special mention of ward Gurkar Mr James, Mr Patrick (Contractor), Mr Joseph Machado, neighbours and ward members in thanks for taking a keen interest, sparing their valuable time and extending their helping hands and thus making things possible in a short duration of time.
Thereafter little snacks were distributed for those who were present to enhance the Joy of accomplishing “Gracious”. Ms Gracy verbalized her sentiments of gratitude for all those who helped and worked behind this construction. More than 30 members witnessed this occasion. The house is furnished with a cupboard, a table, couple of Chairs, solar battery for power, a cot with Bed. etc.

Parish priests visited the site and took note of the work that has happened. Many parishioners too visited and appreciated the charitable work which is in progress. Rev Fr Anil D’Souza in his prayer thanked the Lord for showering His choicest blessings on Ms Gracy Machado through various people of good and kind heart. Nearly 25 members were present.

The Priests of the Parish along with Mr Melvin Noronha visited the spot supervised the work undertaken. The Parish Priest Fr Anil D’Souza congratulated the ward members and people who joined their hands in actualizing this plan. He prayed the heavenly blessings over the project, Ms Gracy, the workers, ward members and on the donors who support this project.
The Members of St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP) of Udyavar unit volunteered to render their service along with the Piad A ward members in this charitable work. May God bless them all.
