Joyful Easter Mass Unites Migrant Faithful at St Xavier Church, Udyavar

St Xavier Church, Udyaver, joyfully celebrated a special Hindi Mass for migrant faithful on the occasion of Easter, bringing together a large number of participants in a spirit of unity and devotion.

The Eucharistic celebration was solemnly led by Rev. Fr. Jason Pinto SDB as the main celebrant, with Rev. Fr. Sushil SVD serving as the concelebrant. The liturgy, conducted in Hindi, enabled the migrant community to prayerfully participate and celebrate the joy of the Resurrection in a language close to their hearts. The members of the commission of migrants along with its convener Mr Merwyn Tauro was present. 

The gathering witnessed an impressive turnout of migrant faithful, reflecting their deep faith and strong sense of belonging to the parish community.

At the end of the Mass, Rev. Fr. Anil, the Parish Priest, along with Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues, extended their warm Easter greetings to all present. They appreciated the active participation of the migrants and encouraged them to continue strengthening their faith and unity within the Church.

The celebration was a meaningful expression of inclusivity and pastoral care, highlighting the parish’s commitment to serving people from diverse backgrounds.
