Palm Sunday Celebration at Udyavar Church

On 29th March, Palm Sunday was solemnly celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church with great devotion and reverence. The ceremony began at the Memorial Altar in Melpete, where Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza blessed the palms, marking the significance of the day.

Following the blessing, a procession was held from the Memorial Altar to the church, with the faithful participating prayerfully. The Holy Mass was then celebrated by Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza.

During the Mass, Dn Kevin D’Souza delivered a meaningful and fitting homily, highlighting the importance of Palm Sunday and its spiritual message. Rev. Fr Stephan Rodrigues concelebrated the Eucharistic celebration.

The entire service was conducted with solemnity, bringing together the parish community in reflection and prayer as they commemorated the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
