“Jubilee Celebration of Choir Members on Choir Sunday”

On 23rd November 2025, the parish joyfully celebrated the Choir Sunday, which coincided with the Jubilee of our dedicated choir members. As part of the celebration, the parish also fondly remembered St. Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, whose feast is observed on 22nd November.

The solemn 7:30 a.m. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anil D’Souza, the Parish Priest and co-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Stephen Rodrigues, the assistant Parish Priest, who also preached the homily for the day. In his message, Fr. Stephen highlighted the invaluable role of music in the liturgy and expressed gratitude for the commitment, discipline, and service of the choir members who enrich every celebration with their melodious presence.

Following the Mass, all choir members gathered for a short fellowship and refreshments, sharing moments of joy, gratitude, and togetherness.

The parish extends heartfelt appreciation to all choir members for their continued service and dedication. May St. Cecilia inspire them to keep praising God through music and song.
