Wealth Wisdom: Unlocking your Financial Future.

The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Udyavar successfully organized Wealth Wisdom, a financial planning and investment awareness program for the youth, on February 2, 2025, at the mini hall of St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavar. The session aimed to educate young individuals about personal finance, investments, and the stock market, equipping them with essential financial literacy skills.

The event was graced by the presence of Parish Priest Fr. Anil Dsouza, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Stephan Rodrigues, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Wilfred Dsouza, Parish Council Secretary Mr. John M. Dsouza, and coordinator of twenty commissions Mr. Gerald Pereira, who extended their support and encouragement to the youth. A total of 34 youth members, comprising ICYM and YCS members, actively participated in the session. Dr. Diana Saldanha, Assistant Professor, Poornaprajna Institute of Management, Udupi, an expert in behavioral finance, served as the resource person, providing valuable insights into financial planning, investment strategies, and market trends.

The session was interactive and engaging, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of wealth management, smart investment choices, and financial discipline. The importance of early investment planning and making informed financial decisions was emphasized throughout the discussion. To make the learning experience even more enjoyable, the event also included fun games and quizzes, which helped reinforce key financial concepts in an entertaining and engaging manner.
