Legion of Mary Udyavar unit Celebrates Annual Day

On Saturday 24th August The Legion of Mary Unit of Udyavar Parish Celebrated their Annual day by offering a thanksgiving mass at 6:45am offered by Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza, Spiritual Director and the Parish priest. thereafter a formal stage program was held in the mini hall.

Fr Anil D’Souza wished all the legionaries on their festive day and encouraged them to take the example of mother Mary and thus to console other people in their difficult situations. He also said the legionaries to invite and inspire rest of the parishioners to join legion and carry forward this noble task

Mr Lawrence D’Sa the Vice president of PPC appreciated the legionaries for their remarkable service. He added, your silent works of love makes a change in the lives of the people.

The President of Legion of Mary, Mrs Asha Pinto proposed the welcoming words, Mrs Ancilla read the annual report and Mrs Marita Monteiro voiced the thanks and Mrs Clara Fernandes Mastered the Ceremony. Rev Fr Stephan Rodrigues shared the stage and many Parishioners witnessed the program. refreshments were served to enhance the joy of the celebration.
