Inauguration of Sunday Catechism Year 2022-23

Udyavar, June 5 : The Sunday Catechism Year 2022-’23 was inaugurated symbolically on Sunday 5th June 2022, during mass at 10.00 am at St Francis Xavier Church, Udyavar.  All Children came with joy and enthusiasm for the Sunday Catechism.   Rev. Fr Stany B. Lobo, the Parish Priest and Chancellor of the Diocese of Udupi inaugurated the Sunday Catechism year with the celebration of Holy mass and lighting the lamp which symbolizes- Jesus is the light of wisdom.  Teacher representative, Students representative and Parents representative were present to lit the lamp in the inaugural session.  During the Holy Eucharist Mr Melvin Noronha, the Vice President, Mr Michael Dsouza, the Secretary, Mr Gerald Pereira, the coordinator of 20 commissions and Smt. Joyce Roopa Machado the Sunday Catechism coordinator were present for the inauguration.
