Commission for Education Celebrates Teachers Day at Udyavar.

On 15th of September the commission for Education at Udyavar Parish celebrated the Teachers day Program at Church hall,
A Thanksgiving mass was offered by Rev Fr Vijay Joyson D’Souza the Principal of St Mary’s CBSE School Kannarpady concelebrated by Rev Fr Stephan Rodrigues. in His Homily Fr Joyson Highlighted that Christ is the Teacher Par Excellence and we are called to walk on his way.
Thereafter a stage program was organized in the church hall for which all the teachers both serving and retired were invited. Fr Anil D’Souza Presided over and Rev Fr Vijay D’Souza was the chief Guest. In his Message Fr Joyson praised the service rendered by teachers in the formation of the future of the world. he also added, modern days teaching profession is challenging because the children are into digital world and often distracted and to make them concentrate on studies has become difficult task.
Rev Fr Anil D’Souza in his presidential remark said, teachers are the one who are able to make their impression in the lives of the student, he urged to teach something that they remember till their end.
Mr Lawrence D’Sa the vice president of PPC highlighted the importance of the day and paid homage to the great personality of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Mr John M D’Souza, Fr Stephan Rodrigues also shared the stage. During the program all the teachers were honored by offering a flower as a token of whishes and respect. Mrs. Pushpa Tauro welcomed the gathering Mrs Cynthia mastered the Ceremony.
The headmistress Mrs Pushpa Tauro, Dr Devika from primary health centre Moodabettu, Asha worker Mrs Naseema , all the teachers and students were present. Programme was began with prayer song. The headmistress welcomed the guest by offering flowers.
