Catechism day Inaugration at Udyavar Parish

On the bright and blessed morning of June 1st, 2025, the faith-filled community gathered in unity and prayer to mark the Catechism Year Inauguration at our parish. With hearts tuned to the melody of God’s Word, the day unfolded under the inspiring theme: “Bhavarthache Metani Barvasache Vater.”

The Holy Mass began at 10:00 a.m., drawing together our students, teachers, parents, and faithful. The Eucharistic celebration was solemnly presided over by our Vicar, Fr. Anil Dsouza, who also formally inaugurated the Catechetical Year with a heartfelt message, calling all to dive deep into the living Word of God and to walk the sacred path of Christian discipleship.

As a sign of dedication and mission, all catechism teachers lit candles, symbolizing the light of Christ. With reverent voices and firm hearts, they took the oath of commitment to nurture the faith of our young minds with love, truth, and compassion.

This academic year, the catechism department joyfully welcomes a total of 115 students, each a precious child of God, eager to learn and grow in faith.

With prayerful hearts and steadfast hope, we entrust this year to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, confident that the seeds sown through the Word of God will blossom into lives of holiness and service.
