All Souls Day at Udyavar Parish

Nov 2nd, a day of sentiments for all the Catholics across the world. A day to remember our beloved departed and to pray for them. In our parish many devotees offered mass for the dead and prayed. Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza the Parish Priest Celebrated the Eucharist and Rev. Fr Stephan Rodrigues Preached on the prominence of the day in relation to the Word of God. Many Parishioners cleaned and adorned the tomb of their beloved with flowers and candles and thus expressed their love to their departed. Followed by mass a procession was led to cemetery with prayers, incensing and blessings of tombs was done. Finally Fr Anil Appreciated the people who had come in large number to pray for their near and dear ones.

In the evening, after the sunset the cemetery was adorned with lighted candles by Evening Friends and thus they gave a tribute for the departed of our parish.
