Remote Preparation for Family Life Program at Udayvar Church

The Commission for Family Life and the Commission for Education of St. Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara, together organized a special program titled “Remote Preparation for Family Life” on 6th July at 3:30 PM. This event was specially arranged for students of 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th standard for the first time in the Diocese of Udupi. 

The session was guided by two experienced and inspiring resource persons: Mr. Lesly Arouza, Director of the Commission for Family Life, Udupi Diocese, and Mrs. Hilda D’Silva. Both speakers shared valuable thoughts on the importance of preparing young minds for future family life. They especially emphasized the need to build and strengthen the bond between children and their parents through open communication, love, and mutual respect.

To make the event spiritually enriching, Rev. Fr Anil D’Souza offered a heartfelt prayer over the parents and children. A touching moment was when parents and children held each other during the prayer, symbolizing unity, trust, and love within the family.
