National Youth Day Celebration with a Focus on Environment Stewardship at Udyavar
Youth are the Young Face of the Church – Rev Fr Anil D’Souza
On 11th August, on the occasion of National Youth Day Celebration a thanksgiving mass was offered for the gift of youth in the Parish. Rev Fr Anil D’Souza, Parish Priest Celebrated the mass and in his homily he underlined the magnanimous strength of the youth and also tried to eliminate the misconceptions people have about them. He also challenged them to make a research of once own potential so as to “Know Thyself” and explore the beauty of youth.
Young Minds with green Thoughts
During the same event, youth also celebrated Vanamahotsava symbolically planting a plant in the Church Campus they also decided to plant one each in their homes so as to show their care and responsibility towards mother Earth. This event was witnessed by Priests of the Parish, Vice President Mr Lawrence D’Sa, Secretory Mr John M. D’Souza and 20 Commission coordinator Mr Gerald Pereira and YCS and ICYM Presidents and Animators.
